Implementation Specialist | Full-Time | Maidenhead, Berkshire | Hybrid/ 3 days in the Office
We’re growing our team at gther and looking for an Implementation Specialist to help turn our clients’ event technology requirements into fully configured, tested and launch-ready solutions.
We’re an event technology company built by events people. Our technology supports brands, agencies, associations and event teams across the event lifecycle – from registration and meetings to apps, lead capture, badging, virtual experiences and more.
This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, solving problems and making things work. This is a great opportunity to kick-start your career in technology and SaaS, gaining hands‑on experience with a growing product suite while learning how technology is scoped, configured, implemented and delivered for real‑world clients and events.
Once client requirements and the solution have been agreed, you’ll take ownership of bringing that solution to life.
You’ll:
We want someone who takes real ownership of delivery. Your success will be measured around:
On‑time delivery – implementations delivered against agreed milestones and launch dates.
Implementation accuracy – client requirements correctly translated into working platform configurations.
Quality – thorough testing and fewer configuration issues reaching UAT, launch or live events.
Launch readiness – every project properly tested, documented and ready before it goes live.
Efficiency – helping reduce the time and manual effort required to move from scope to launch.
Handover quality – ensuring completed implementations are clearly documented and ready for ongoing client management.
Continuous improvement – creating repeatable processes, templates and best practice that help us scale.
Client experience – providing clear communication, responsive delivery and confidence throughout implementation.
You don’t need to be a developer, but you do need to be technically confident, highly organised and naturally curious about how software works.
You’ll ideally have:
Experience in the events industry would be a real advantage. Events have fixed deadlines and little room for error, so understanding that environment matters.
Above all, we’re looking for someone who enjoys doing. Someone who gets satisfaction from taking a set of requirements, configuring the solution, testing it thoroughly and knowing it’s ready to go.
Maidehead/ Hybrid – approximately three days per week in the office
Some UK and international travel may be required
Sound like you? We’d love to hear from you.
