Job summary

East Kent Colleges Group invites applications for a Transition Manager to lead the Bridging Futures Transition and Attendance Programme for 16-19 learners. You will design, implement and evaluate a structured transition model, overseeing multiple sites and a team of Transition Mentors.

The role focuses on safeguarding, inclusion and improving progression outcomes through data-informed decisions. You will collaborate with internal and external partners, ensure programme fidelity, and work with

Qualifications

• Strong leadership with experience delivering complex programmes across multiple teams/sites
• Collaborative approach with internal/external partners
• Commitment to learner success, particularly for disadvantaged learners
• Use data, evaluation and insights to shape decisions and show outcomes
• Excellent communication to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Knowledge of transition, attendance and retention for 16-19 learners
• Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding with trauma-informed practice
• Sound organisational and financial skills including budgeting, reporting or QA

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, delivery and evaluation of the Bridging Futures Transition and Attendance Programme
• Oversee cross-college delivery and coordinate stakeholders
• Line-manage Transition Mentors and ensure programme fidelity
• Collaborate with evaluators to support pre-pilot development and scalability
• Drive continuous improvement and impact across EKC Group and beyond
