Job summary

Trinity Solutions Academy in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Teaching & Learning Support Practitioner to join our Workshop team. This full-time role supports learners, with SEMH experience and strong behaviour management advantageous.

The successful candidate will develop positive relationships with learners, maintain consistent, respectful interactions, and work towards NVQ Level 2/3 for Teaching Assistants or an equivalent qualification, plus Level 2 literacy and numeracy.

Qualifications

• Ideally you will have or be working towards NVQ level 2 or 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent.
• A minimum of Level 2 Basic Skills in Literacy and Numeracy is required for this role.
• Previous experience in an SEMH environment and managing pupil behaviour would be an advantage.
• Able to build and maintain positive relationships with learners and treat them with respect.
