Job summary

Salesian School in Chertsey, part of the Xavier Catholic Education Trust, is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support learning across the 11–18 age range. To commence 3 November 2026, the role offers a PS3, pro-rated at £25,133 FTE, 39 weeks per year and 36 hours per week.

You will assist with classroom activities, follow teacher instructions, support pupils, maintain records and work with staff to create a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Basic IT skills and the ability to follow teacher guidance.
• Ability to plan and prioritise regular and irregular tasks in a classroom.
