Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistant to support students across KS3 and KS4 in a Chichester area secondary school. This full-time role runs from ASAP until mid‑January, with a pay rate of £14.25–£15.66 per hour.

You will assist in lessons, deliver targeted interventions, and help students engage, progress, and build confidence while upholding safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and adaptable to different age groups
• Reliable and committed to a full‑time role
• Willingness to obtain DBS if not present

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4
• Provide classroom support during lessons
• Deliver targeted interventions and small‑group support
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
• Build positive relationships with students and staff
• Follow safeguarding and school policies
