Job summary

Pertemps Black Country Perms is recruiting a Supply Chain & Operations Coordinator for our busy Distribution Centre in Tipton. The role focuses on purchasing, inventory management, logistics coordination, and warehouse collaboration to ensure products are available and orders are fulfilled.

You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to improve efficiency, resolve stock discrepancies, and support ERP system enhancements while handling complex shipments and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, inventory management, supply chain, logistics, or distribution.
• Knowledge of imports, exports, freight processes, customs duties, and shipping documentation would be advantageous.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities and maintain stock levels to meet demands.
• Monitor inventory, investigate discrepancies, and resolve stock queries.
• Coordinate customer orders, shipments, and deliveries for timely fulfilment.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Manager to improve efficiency and drive process improvements.
• Support ERP system implementation and data accuracy initiatives.
