Job summary

Ribbons and Reeves Limited seeks an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist SEN school in London from September. You will work with children and young people with diverse communication needs, delivering assessments and therapy within a multidisciplinary SEND team.

The role requires HCPC registration and a relevant SLT degree, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with teachers and staff to embed communication strategies across the school day.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and a Speech and Language Therapy degree.
• Experience working with children or young people in SEND.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary working skills.
• Experience supporting pupils with autism and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess pupils' speech, language, communication and interaction needs.
• Develop and deliver individual and group therapy programmes.
• Provide advice and strategies to teaching and support staff.
• Contribute to EHCP assessments, reviews and outcomes.
• Support pupils with expressive/receptive language and social communication needs.
