Job summary

Service Care is seeking two experienced Social Workers to join the Central Neighbourhood Team in Sale Waterside. The role focuses on comprehensive assessments, safeguarding, and coordinating support for adults with complex needs in a busy community setting.

Candidates will work under the Council’s reshaping policies, handle a varied caseload, and participate in a duty rota for urgent cases. This temporary position offers flexible working and professional supervision within a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Experience of adult social care assessments and safeguarding processes.
• Ability to develop outcome-focused intervention plans.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive, person-centred assessments for adults.
• Develop tailored intervention plans based on strengths and outcomes.
• Manage safeguarding enquiries in line with policy and legislation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies.
• Contribute to duty rota for crisis intervention.
• Secure funding and resources to support service users.
