Job summary

SENse Learning is recruiting Specialist Teachers to provide one-to-one support for SEND learners across the UK, delivering in-person, online and hybrid sessions. You will plan and tailor lessons to EHCP goals, build safe learning environments, and monitor progress with regular feedback.

This role is self-employed; you will work with families, schools and local authorities to arrange flexible schedules. We welcome candidates with QTS/QTLS, 2+ years post-NQT experience and a trauma-informed,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD in a holistic, trauma-informed way.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) required.
• Child-centred, holistic approach with the ability to adapt the curriculum to individual learners.
• Enhanced DBS check and 2+ professional references.

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring tailored to EHCP goals.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
