Job summary

SENse Learning in the United Kingdom is recruiting SEND Tutors to provide one-to-one support across SEND, SEMH, and related needs, with roles including Specialist Teacher, Intervention Tutor, and SEND Teacher. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH needs.
• QTS or QTLS required or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Holistic, child-centred approach with creativity to tailor the curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with pupils with SEND/SEMH and support learning.
• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring tailored to EHCPs and risk assessments.
• Plan lessons and report progress with regular feedback to carers and schools.
• Follow safeguarding guidelines and trauma-informed teaching practices.
