Job summary

Prospero Teaching are working with a specialist SEND school in Rochdale to appoint a SEND Engagement & Behaviour Specialist. You will support learners with complex needs, building trusted relationships, adapting communication to support learning, confidence and life skills.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, term-time, with a start date of 01/09/2026. You will be required to complete safeguarding checks and hold the Right to Work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience with learners with autism, ADHD or complex learning needs.
• Ability to adapt communication to individual learners.
• Calm, patient and consistent approach to support development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Support learners with complex needs using a person-centred approach.
