Job summary

Aspire People in Towcester, Northamptonshire is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, help pupils access learning, build confidence and become more independent in a specialist SEN environment.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with consistent school hours and a supportive staff team. Driving is essential due to location; own transport is required to reach the school.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small-group SEN support
• Supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs
• Helping pupils engage with classroom learning
• Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
• Developing positive and trusting relationships with pupils
• Following individual learning and support plans
• Working closely with teachers and the wider SEN team
• Encouraging independence and celebrating pupil progress
