TeacherActive Limited is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEND school in the Sutton area, working with Post-16 learners up to 19 years old.

The role involves delivering highly differentiated lessons for students with autism, PMLD and complex needs, coordinating with Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and support staff to promote communication, independence and wellbeing.

Formación

• QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Previous teaching experience within a SEND/special school is essential.
• Experience teaching Post-16 SEND students is essential.
• Ability to work with learners up to 19 years old and support complex needs.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and DBS requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver highly differentiated lessons for Post-16 SEND students.
• Support learners with autism, PMLD, SLD and complex needs.
• Develop communication, independence and life skills.
• Prepare learners for greater independence and adulthood.
• Collaborate with Speech and Language Therapists, OTs and support staff.
