Job summary

Ashby C of E is seeking an SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming team committed to enriching the lives of our young people and providing everyone with the strongest start. The role involves 1:1 work for pupils with additional needs and collaboration with our SENDCo to support wider interventions for small groups of learners.

This fixed-term post is 20 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, pro rata, with a start date as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Experience with young children would be beneficial.
• Willingness to start or continue a learning support career.
• Ability to work 1:1 with pupils with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.
• Collaborate with SENDCo on wider interventions for small groups.
• Support a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment.
