Kibworth Church of England Primary School is seeking a caring 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs and help them access learning and wellbeing. You will work alongside our teaching team to create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment.

The role is term-time plus inset days, 28.5 hours per week, fixed term ending 20 August 2027, with responsibilities across the school day and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) OR ability to meet STL Level 2 NOS.
• Experience supporting teaching and learning in a school setting.
• Skills & Knowledge: understanding of child protection and health & safety procedures; strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to motivate and engage students.

Responsabilités

• Support teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
• Assist individuals and small groups with learning activities.
• Provide feedback on pupil engagement and progress.
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development.
• Prepare and use learning materials, including ICT resources.
• Help create stimulating classroom displays.
