Job summary

Fresh Start In Education Ltd. is looking for a SEN Education and Engagement Specialist in Leeds. You will provide 1:1 or 2:1 educational support to learners in homes or specialist settings, adapting sessions to individual needs and interests.

Sessions run during term time, typically 3–5 hours, with a collaborative team. A background in SEN, autism or complex needs is desirable, and safeguarding knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with SEND in educational settings.
• Availability on at least 2 consistent weekdays.
• Up-to-date safeguarding and child protection knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or 2:1 educational support to children and young people in homes or specialist settings.
• Deliver personalised sessions reflecting each learner's needs, interests and abilities.
• Sessions run during the school day (term time only) and typically last 3 to 5 hours.
• Work flexibly as part of a compassionate, expert-led team.
