Job summary

Tripod Partners is seeking a Qualified Social Worker for the Safeguarding Team in Caerphilly. This role offers an immediate start and an ongoing contract, paying £38.00 per hour.

You will bring strong post-qualified experience in Children’s Services, handling CIN/CP/LAC cases and contributing to safeguarding investigations. Qualifications

• Strong post-qualified experience in Children’s Team - Assessment and Duty work; minimum 2 years’ qualified experience.
• Hold CIN, CP and LAC cases.
• Completing SWETs.
• Section 7 reports.
• Section 47 assessments / strategy discussions / ICPCs.
• Handling complex CP cases including CP visits, Core groups, RCPCs.
• Holding CLA cases including Stat reviews, PEPs and visits.
• Undertaking Section 47 investigations.
• Writing court reports and attending court.
• Attending Strategy Meetings, network and professional meetings.

Responsibilities

• You will manage safeguarding caseloads across Children’s Services, including assessment and duty work.
• Prepare and submit court reports and participate in strategy discussions.
• Coordinate with partners and attend relevant meetings to safeguard children.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures.
