Job summary

Tripod Partners is seeking a Qualified Social Worker for the Safeguarding Team in Devon. The role offers an immediate start with an ongoing contract and payment at £42 per hour.

The post requires substantial post-qualification experience in Children's Services, including CP/CIN/LAC case handling, SWETs and court reporting. Tripod Partners provides dedicated consultant support, CV and interview guidance, payroll services, DBS/compliance, and a £500 referral fee.

Qualifications

• Post-qualified experience in Children's Team - Assessment and Duty work (2 years minimum)
• Hold CIN, CP and LAC cases
• Experience writing SWETs and Section 7 reports
• Experience with Section 47 assessments, strategy discussions and ICPCs
• Experience handling CP and CLA cases including visits and reviews
• Undertaking Section 47 investigations and related court work
• Writing court reports and attending court
• Participation in Strategy Meetings and professional meetings

Responsibilities

• Lead safeguarding activity within the Devon team and manage casework
• Complete SWETs, CP/CLA casework, and court reports as required
• Attend strategy meetings, network and professional meetings
• Maintain up-to-date records and comply with DBS and regulatory requirements
