Job summary

Tripod Partners is currently recruiting a Qualified Social Worker for the Safeguarding Team in Bath with an immediate start and an ongoing contract. The role focuses on Children’s Services including Assessment, Duty work, CIN/CP/LAC, and safeguarding investigations, with responsibilities spanning court reports and strategy meetings.

The successful candidate will have strong post-qualification experience in a Children's Team and hold relevant cases such as CP visits, strategy discussions, and

Qualifications

• Post qualified experience in Children’s Team - Assessment and Duty work.
• Experience handling CIN/CP, LAC, SWETs, Section 7 and Section 47 investigations.
• Experience writing court reports and attending court, attending strategy meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage safeguarding cases in the Children’s Team (Assessment, Duty, CP/CIN/LAC)
• Prepare and write court reports and attend court hearings
• Attend Strategy Meetings, network and professional meetings
• Undertake Section 47 investigations and related assessments
• Support complex CP and CLA cases including visits and reviews

Qualified Social Worker Safeguarding Team, Bath Immediate start with ongoing contract. Paying £45.00 per hour

• You will need to have strong post qualified experience in Children’s' Team - Assessment, Duty work - 2 years minimum qualified experience desired.
• Hold CIN and CP cases and hold LAC cases
• Completing SWETs
• Section 7 reports
• Section 47 assessments / strategy discussions /ICPCs
• Holding complex CP cases Including CP visits, Core groups RCPCs etc.
• Holding CLA cases including Stat reviews, PEPs and visits.
• Undertaking Section 47 investigations
• Writing court reports and attending court
• Attending Strategy Meetings, network and Professional Meetings.
