Job summary

Tripod Partners are recruiting a Qualified Social Worker for the Safeguarding Team in Devon. Immediate start on an ongoing contract, paying £38.00 per hour.

You will handle post-qualified child protection work across CIN, CP and LAC cases, conduct assessments, attend strategy meetings and prepare court reports. The role requires strong experience in Children’s Services, ability to manage complex cases, and commitment to high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Post-qualified experience in Children’s services, 2 years minimum preferred.
• Experience with CIN and CP cases and LAC caseloads.
• Ability to prepare SWETs and court submissions.

Responsibilities

• Manage safeguarding cases with assessment and duty responsibilities.
• Hold CIN/CP/LAC cases and complete related reports.
• Prepare Section 7 reports and participate in strategy discussions.
• Attend court hearings and core group meetings as required.
• Undertake Section 47 investigations and contribute to care planning.
