Job summary

Comberton Village College in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Safeguarding and Alternative Provision Coordinator to join our safeguarding and inclusion team. This permanent role is 37 hours per week, with hours Mon-Thu 08:00–16:00 and Fri 08:00–15:30, supporting vulnerable pupils to stay safe and access high-quality education.

You will work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead and pastoral staff to coordinate safeguarding processes, maintain accurate records, and oversee alternative

• Coordinate safeguarding processes with the Designated Safeguarding Lead and safeguarding/pastoral teams.
• Maintain accurate safeguarding records and case files.
• Oversee alternative provision arrangements for students requiring additional support.
• Support vulnerable pupils to access high-quality education and ensure no one falls through the gaps.
