Job summary

Reed is seeking a proactive Performance Analyst to support the Metropolitan Police Service in London, driving performance insights for the County Lines Programme and Operation Yamata. You will own reporting, analyse large datasets, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for senior leaders and frontline teams.

As a trusted partner, you’ll develop dashboards, improve data quality, and communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and Pivot Tables for large datasets.
• Data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy.
• Trend/Performance analysis to identify risks/opportunities.
• Data reconciliation across multiple sources to ensure consistency.
• Creating charts, reports and MI packs for senior stakeholders.
• Identifying data quality issues and anomalies.
• Presenting findings to stakeholders and senior management.
• Turning raw data into meaningful business insights.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities and operational insights.
• Respond to ad-hoc analytical requests from senior stakeholders.
• Create PowerPoint presentations and management information packs.
• Monitor data quality and investigate inconsistencies.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Support strategic decision-making through evidence-based analysis.
• Build strong relationships with operational teams, managers and senior leaders.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and outputs.
• Develop dashboards and explore innovative ways to present performance information.
