Job summary

Sheffield City Council’s Parking Services is seeking an inspiring Operations Manager to lead a large frontline Parking Enforcement team and shape service delivery across the city.

You will guide performance, develop staff, manage budgets and build strong relationships with councillors, partners and businesses to deliver high‑quality, safe and fair parking provision. This senior role requires strategic thinking and hands‑on leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading frontline teams in a large public-facing service.
• Ability to drive performance improvements and change in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with multiple partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead Parking Enforcement frontline team seven days a week, including evenings.
• Develop and deliver service improvements while maintaining day-to-day delivery.
• Influence partners, councillors and stakeholders to achieve key priorities for Sheffield.
