Job summary

Fire Protection Online Ltd is seeking a Management Accountant who will own the monthly management accounts, build budgets and cash-flow models, and provide variance analysis and KPI insights to the board. You will work closely with the senior team and external accountants.

The role is office-based in Canterbury, with scope to shape and grow the finance function and progress toward Finance Manager as the business expands.

Qualifications

• Must have proven track record producing management accounts.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management and variance analysis.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and presenting KPIs to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly management accounts and deliver them on time and accurately.
• Build budgets, forecasts and cash-flow models.
• Analyse variances and explain drivers to stakeholders.
• Track KPIs and present findings to board and senior managers.
• Analyse sales and commercial data and turn into practical recommendations.
• Collaborate with sales/operations to explain financial performance.
