This senior role brings together financial reporting, budgeting, and strong controls; you will line-manage finance leads, oversee accounts and audit trails, and help shape a sustainable medium-term financial position while improving TechnologyOne-based workflows.

Qualifications

• Lead and coordinate the Finance work programme: budget monitoring and setting, accounts, treasury and assurance.
• Line manage the three Finance leads, ensuring performance, development and resilient cover.
• Ensure robust financial controls and audit trails from ledger to statements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integrated Finance work programme, including budget monitoring, setting, accounts, treasury and assurance.
• Line manage the three Finance leads, set objectives, balance workloads and support development.
• Direct accounts preparation and review reconciliations and audit trails.
• Quality-assure revenue and capital forecasts, the annual budget and medium-term plan.
• Maintain and improve the financial control framework, including journals, reconciliations and audit actions.
• Act as Finance owner for TechnologyOne processes and support business cases and value-for-money reviews.
• Help shape resource management and informed decision-making for communities served.
