Moonshot is building a pool of skilled linguist consultants to support its expanding research projects focused on countering online harms. We seek native or near-native speakers of Albanian, Hindi, Kurdish (Sorani), Punjabi, and Urdu with strong English skills.

You will translate content, provide cultural context, and draft concise, robust reports while meeting tight deadlines. Remote options exist for UK-based consultants, with competitive consultancy rates.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Albanian, Hindi, Kurdish (Sorani), Punjabi or Urdu.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken) for reports and team work.
• Ability to scan large data volumes and identify valuable information.
• Relevant professional or research experience.
• Strong attention to detail and pattern recognition in language.
• Excellent team working skills and flexible collaboration.
• Experience in translation, research, or analysis work.

Responsabilités

• Identification, collection and analysis of information from diverse data sources.
• Providing accurate translation and cultural context for content in specialist languages.
• Drafting high-quality reports with concise, robust findings.
• Meeting demanding reporting schedules to support projects.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to reflect linguistic nuances in outputs.
