Job summary

Empowering Learning in Newcastle is seeking enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistants (Level 3) to support early years learners in private day nurseries. You will assist with EYFS activities, observe progress and contribute to a caring, safe environment.

The role offers flexible working options where applicable, chances for professional development, and competitive pay (£14.25–£16/hr).

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years.
• Passion for working with children.
• DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and development of children in the nursery.
• Plan and deliver engaging EYFS activities.
• Promote a safe, inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with staff, parents and carers.
• Observe and record progress.
