Job summary

Empowering Learning are seeking enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistants (Level 3) to join private day nurseries in the Newcastle area. You will support early years learners and contribute to their development in a nurturing environment.

The role involves assisting with EYFS activities, observing progress, and working closely with staff and parents to ensure a safe and inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years.
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to purchase one.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning and development of children in the nursery setting.
• Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS.

Salary: £14.25 - £16 per hour

Empowering Learning are seeking enthusiastic and caring Nursery Teaching Assistants (Level 3) to join many of the private day nurseries we work with in the Newcastle area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with young children and contributing to their early development in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the learning and development of children in the nursery setting
• Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
• Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and carers
• Observe and record children's progress

Requirements:

• Relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years
• A genuine passion for working with children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to purchase one
