Job summary

Here To Help Recruitment is seeking qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our dynamic temporary nursery team for the Newcastle upon Tyne area.

This role offers flexible scheduling with pay ranging from 16.65 to 18.00 per hour, DBS support, and the chance to progress from temporary to permanent nursery positions. Candidates should hold Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualifications, possess strong communication skills, and enjoy creating a warm, safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• Childcare qualifications at Level 2 or Level 3.
• Current Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with obtaining one).
• Genuine passion for early years and nursery care.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Team player adaptable to new environments.
• Flexibility in working hours and locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily care of children in the nursery setting.
• Engage children in educational and play activities.
• Support the Nursery Manager in maintaining a safe and stimulating environment.
• Help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all children.
• Assist in implementing daily routines and activities.
• Contribute to observing and recording children's progress.
