Job summary

Ormiston Sir Stanley Matthews Academy is seeking a proactive Learning Support Assistant to join our SEND team, supporting students to access learning and develop independence across the school.

You will work closely with teaching staff to deliver high-quality interventions, monitor progress and provide pastoral support within an inclusive academy environment, helping every pupil to engage with the curriculum and achieve their potential.

Qualifications

• Strong literacy, numeracy and communication skills required.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and monitor student progress.
• IT skills to support learning and access to resources.

Responsibilities

• Support students with a range of needs and deliver high-quality interventions.
• Monitor progress and help remove barriers to learning.
