Job summary

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for our Apprenticeships Team, primarily at Slough & Langley College. You will help apprentices access their curriculum and develop key skills, working with tutors, assessors and employers to provide tailored learning support.

You will support learners with general barriers to learning, assist with assignments, exam preparation and develop English, maths and ICT skills, including SEND/EHCP considerations.

Qualifications

• Experience or qualifications in supporting individuals with learning difficulties or neurodiversities (e.g. Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia).
• Level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics are required.
• Commitment to safeguarding, Equality and Data Protection policies.

Responsibilities

• Support apprentices across programmes to access curriculum and develop essential skills.
• Work with apprentices, tutors, assessors and employers to provide tailored learning support.
• Deliver support one-to-one or in small groups and assist with assignments and exam prep.
