Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is seeking two Workforce Practitioners to join the Workforce Relations team on a six-month fixed-term basis. You will use HR knowledge, judgement and influencing skills to support managers on workforce relations and contribute to service improvements.

Based at Shire Hall, Warwick, the role offers agile working and a range of benefits including annual leave, Vivup discounts and confidential wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Sound HR knowledge and professional judgement.
• Ability to build effective working relationships and manage competing priorities.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification (and working towards Level 7) or equivalent HR experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and advise on complex casework and employee relations matters.
• Engage with Trade Union representatives.
• Support grading activity.
• Contribute to policy development and implementation, including training.
