Job summary

Target Housing is seeking a Bank Support Worker for Morley Road in Doncaster to provide housing and support services that help service users sustain tenancies, build independence and reach personal goals.

You will assist with moving in/out, implement person-centred plans, support budgeting and benefits claims, and work with local authorities to ensure safe, well-maintained living environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk assessment and support planning.
• Experience working with vulnerable adults/supported living.
• Understanding of relevant legislation.
• Experience working with Local Authorities and health/social care professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing and support services to help service users sustain tenancies, develop independence, and achieve personal goals.
• Support service users with moving in and out of accommodation.
• Deliver person-centred support plans and monitor progress within timescales.
• Build service users’ skills, confidence, and independence.
• Work with partner agencies to enhance service delivery.
• Support a safe, clean, and well-maintained living environment.
• Provide guidance on budgeting, income maximisation, and benefit claims.
• Assist with occupancy compliance and record-keeping.
• Carry out risk assessments and support plans reviews.
