Wayman Education is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join a Barnsley secondary school. The role covers KS3 and KS4, with a focus on developing pupils' literacy, analytical thinking and confidence in English Language and Literature.

You will deliver engaging lessons, prepare students for GCSE exams, monitor progress and provide targeted support where needed. The position starts January 2027 and is full-time and permanent; a QTS in English (or ECT) is required with strong subject knowledge

• Holds QTS in English or is an ECT.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
• Can adapt lessons to meet different learning needs.
• Passion for literacy and pupil achievement.
