Job summary

Society of St James in Southampton is seeking an Engagement & Support Coordinator to join Southampton Floating Support. The role manages a caseload of individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness, coordinating care and support services to improve daily living and housing stability.

The successful candidate will work with partner agencies, demonstrate knowledge of homelessness-related issues, and have strong organisational and IT skills.

Qualifications

• Experience/Knowledge of working with people with homelessness, mental health problems and substance misuse.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative.
• Strong partnership working and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of vulnerable individuals at risk of homelessness.
• Work with partner agencies to motivate and support service users to improve living skills and housing stability.
• Promote empowerment and independence through engagement and meaningful occupation.
