Job summary

AA Euro Group is recruiting for a dedicated Children’s Residential Support Worker to join a 1-bed EBD home in Enfield. You will provide person-centred care to a young person, build trusted relationships, and support education, independence and social development in a structured, nurturing setting.

The role requires previous experience in a children's residential home, safeguarding awareness, and the ability to work across shifts, including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a children's residential home is essential.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and child protection practices are expected.
• Good communication and teamwork are required for daily collaboration with the team and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to a young person with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
• Build positive relationships and act as a consistent role model.
• Support care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies.
• Promote the young person's independence, education, and social development.
• Maintain a safe environment in line with safeguarding and Ofsted standards.
• Accurately record daily activities, incidents and progress reports.
• Collaborate with the wider team, external professionals and family as appropriate.
• Participate in shift work including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and bank holidays.
