Job summary

Health Recruit Network is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a 2-bed EBD children's home in Salisbury. You will support young people aged 8–17, helping them build confidence, independence and life skills within a safe, nurturing environment.

You will work as part of a supportive team, providing high-quality, child-centred care, helping implement care plans and safeguarding procedures while promoting positive relationships with colleagues and external professionals.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce.
• Experience in a children's residential setting.
• Experience with EBD or complex needs and safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running of the children's home.
• Provide high-quality, child-centred care to young people with EBD.
• Model positive behaviour and build trusting relationships.
• Assist with care plans, risk assessments and support plans.
• Support junior staff and promote safeguarding.

Education
