Job summary

Pobl Group is seeking a Community Engagement Project Worker for our Carmarthenshire Prevention Hub. The role covers Llanelli, Ammanford and Gwendreath, with a focus on delivering information, opportunities and supportive services to help customers maintain health, well-being and independence through strong community ties.

The role runs Monday to Friday in office hours, with flexibility as needed. A driving licence and access to a car are required to travel between hubs and partner organisations.

• Ability to deal with conflicting and difficult situations.
• Ability to build great rapport with customers.
• Ability to plan, deliver, review and monitor a holistic package of support.
• Ability to assess risk and propose risk management strategies.
• Hold a driving licence and have access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the preventative hubs in Llanelli, Amman and Gwendreath, and provide information, opportunities and support to customers.
• Receive referrals, provide wellbeing conversations and deliver community engagement campaigns.
• Work with partner organisations to develop community support networks.
