Job summary

Communities and Education is hiring a CIAG Adviser to work within prison settings in Bicester (HMP Bullingdon). You will deliver tailored career coaching, workshops and personalised action plans to empower individuals for a fresh start and brighter futures beyond custody.

The role requires resilience, empathy and adaptability, with a competitive pro rata salary (£26,351–£29,000) and benefits. There is opportunity for career progression and CPD through training and travel for meetings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage a prisoner caseload and support targets and MI data requirements.
• Record all prisoner interactions in relevant Justice systems with case notes.
• Document advice and goals in a Learning and Work Plan with SMART goals.
• Meet and strive to exceed personal KPIs for prisoners seen, reviews, and progression.
• Work flexibly across prisons to maintain continuity of service.
• Attend custody meetings and travel to events for CPD as required.
