Job summary

Devon County Council is seeking a Residential Support Worker to join its Children's Homes across Devon. You will support children and young people with complex needs, helping them achieve personal goals in a caring, home-from-home setting and promote their independence.

The role requires shift work, including late nights and some sleep-ins, and a valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle. 37 hours per week with enhancements up to 4,000 a year; full rate starts at £14.36/hour and rises to

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy skills to GCSE level.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Short courses relevant to the role (First Aid, Food Hygiene, trauma led practice).
