Job summary

Devon County Council is seeking a Residential Support Worker to join our Children’s Homes in Devon. This rewarding role supports children with complex needs, helping them achieve personal goals and develop life skills across 37 hours per week (plus one 25-hour post). You’ll work shifts, build positive relationships, and promote a home-from-home environment.

Experience with young people, safeguarding knowledge, and GCSE-level numeracy/literacy are preferred. Driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people with complex needs.
• Familiar with person centred planning.
• Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
