Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group Ltd is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Teaching Assistant to work in a Bromley secondary setting. You will support pupils aged 11-16 with behavioural or SEMH needs, providing 1:1 and small-group support alongside teachers and the SEND department.

The role requires strong behaviour management, de-escalation skills and the ability to promote positive learning and emotional regulation in a safe, structured environment. Immediate start for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting pupils with behavioural or SEMH needs.
• Experience in secondary school, PRU or alternative provision desirable.
• Confident with behaviour management and de-escalation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils requiring behavioural and emotional support.
• Implement behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Promote emotional regulation and keep pupils engaged with learning.
• Act as a positive role model and maintain a safe, structured learning environment.
