Job summary

Qualifications

• Has experience working with children or young people.
• Calm, patient and consistent in approach.
• Can build rapport quickly with students.
• Feels confident supporting challenging behaviour.
• Has genuine interest in supporting young people’s development.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
• Help students regulate emotions and behaviour.
• Encourage positive engagement in lessons and school life.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with young people.
• Work alongside teachers, pastoral staff and SEN teams.
• Promote independence, resilience and positive behaviour choices.
