Axcis Education Recruitment is recruiting for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant in Preston. The role supports students aged 11-16 with additional needs, working 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Pay starts at £14.30 per hour, with potential increases based on experience. On-site parking and good transport links are available. This is a temporary position with equal opportunity employment.
Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant Are you looking for a rewarding role within a SEND school which will grow your skills and transform the lives of others? Here at Axcis Education, we are recruiting for full‑time and part‑time teaching assistants to work with students aged 11‑16 with additional needs at a special needs secondary school in Preston. The students in this school have a range of special needs such as autism, challenging behaviour and social, emotional and mental health needs. Behaviour at this school can be challenging so we are looking for candidates that won't be phased by this. Pay rates begin at £14.30 per hour and may increase depending on experience. Transport links are offered from Preston city centre and surrounding areas, and free parking is provided on site. You will be required to work with the pupils in a range of lessons and support the teacher in the delivery of engaging activities. The role will start as soon as possible and candidates applying for this role must be available to work 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday.
