Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a compassionate Band 3 Care Support Worker to join the Children’s Continuing Care Team in Wiltshire. The role involves delivering high-quality care to children with complex medical needs in their homes and community settings.

This part-time position (27 hours per week) offers full training, a supportive team, and opportunities to develop within our national health and care services network.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in health or social care or recognized equivalent.
• GCSE English and Maths.
• British Sign Language level 1.
• Makaton.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in their homes, including night, day and evening shifts.
• Support children with complex health needs and medical technology.
• Receive full training and work with a trained colleague.
• Keep accurate records of the care provided.
• Communicate effectively with children and families.
• Follow the child’s care plan and monitor health changes.
