Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting tutors to support learners across Leicestershire in Primary, Secondary and GCSE subjects, including SEND support. Roles are flexible, with potential for permanent positions, and may involve home, school, or other settings.

You will deliver tailored one-to-one lessons, create resources, assess progress and provide feedback. Applicants should have at least two years of UK tutoring/teaching experience and be willing to travel across Leicestershire.

Qualifications

• Two years of teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
• Experience in Primary, Secondary, GCSE, Functional Skills or SEND education.
• Strong communication, planning and assessment skills.
• Ability to adapt lessons to different abilities and manage behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging one-to-one lessons based on individual learning needs.
• Prepare suitable resources and adapt teaching methods.
• Assess progress and provide written feedback after sessions.
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independent learning.
• Build professional relationships with pupils, families, schools and support teams.
• Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.
