Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. (TP Tutors) is seeking passionate tutors to deliver one-to-one tuition across Coventry and surrounding areas, in pupils' homes, schools, and other settings during school hours.

You may support learners with primary, secondary, GCSE, Functional Skills or SEND needs, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, Dyslexia, EHCPs; flexible hours and competitive weekly pay offered, with DBS checks and safeguarding training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' UK teaching or tutoring experience.
• Experience in Primary, Secondary, GCSE, Functional Skills, or SEND education.
• Strong lesson planning, assessment, communication, and behaviour management skills.
• Reliable travel across Coventry and surrounding areas.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• QTS, PGCE, or another recognised teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition tailored to individual needs.
• Plan and prepare high-quality lessons.
• Assess learning and provide clear feedback after each session.
• Adapt teaching strategies to different abilities and learning styles.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, schools, and professionals.
• Support learners to improve academic attainment and confidence.
• Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.
