Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking Education Tutors to provide one-to-one tuition in Milton Keynes and nearby areas, covering primary, secondary, GCSE and SEND needs.

Roles are temporary and flexible, with potential for permanent positions, and tuition delivered in pupils' homes, schools and other settings. As an Education Tutor you will tailor lessons to each learner's level, prepare materials, monitor progress and adapt approaches.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
• Knowledge of primary, secondary, GCSE, Functional Skills or SEND education.
• Excellent communication, planning, assessment and classroom or behaviour management skills.
• Ability to travel to tuition assignments across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide focused one-to-one tuition that supports individual learning objectives.
• Design lesson plans and prepare relevant learning materials.
• Evaluate progress and adapt lessons to improve outcomes.
• Use inclusive teaching approaches to meet different abilities and learning requirements.
• Develop pupils' motivation, confidence, behaviour and independent study skills.
• Maintain positive working relationships with parents, carers, schools and other professionals.
