Job summary

Talbot Village Trust in Dorset is seeking an Impact & Learning Lead (Part-time) to shape how we measure impact, learn from our work, and share insights across the organisation and with grantees. Based in Bournemouth with hybrid working, you will develop practical approaches to evaluation and ensure funding decisions are evidence-informed.

Qualifications

• Experience of designing and leading impact enquiries
• Experience of co-designed approaches such as community-engaged participatory research
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex information into useful insights
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Understanding of charitable organisations and the impact of their work

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of impact measurement, evaluation and organisational learning
• Work with grantees to develop practical approaches to measuring impact
• Gather insights from communities and communicate long-term differences created by grants
• Ensure decisions are evidence-informed and funding delivers maximum benefit
• Collaborate with teams to turn findings into actionable learning across the organisation
