Job summary

Talbot Village Trust in Bournemouth is seeking an Impact & Learning Lead to deepen and communicate the difference our funding makes. You will lead on impact measurement, evaluation and organisational learning, ensuring decisions are evidence-informed and funding delivers maximum benefit.

The role focuses on learning frameworks, participatory evaluation, and sharing insights with trustees and partners to improve grant-making and community outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and leading impact enquiries.
• Experience co-designing approaches with communities.
• Strong written and verbal communication and relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the design, delivery and refinement of the Trust’s impact and learning strategy.
• Translate insights from grant-giving programmes into strategic recommendations for the Board.
• Develop practical, sustainable impact frameworks and monitoring processes with grantees.
• Lead impact measurement initiatives and track long-term effects on individuals and communities.
• Facilitate internal and external learning processes and share insights to shape decisions.
• Create accessible reports and presentations to inform decision-making at all levels.
